Three Lakes

Three Lakes is named for the three major lakes in the area: Maple, Townline, and Range Line lakes. Back in the late nineteenth century, the town was an important lumber supplier to cities like Chicago. Today, the town has become a popular destination due to its 28 interconnected lakes. The town claims the title for the largest inland chain of lakes in the world. With so many beautiful water sources, it’s no wonder Three Lakes has become a must-see destination for the outdoors types who enjoy water-skiing, wakeboarding, boating, canoeing, fishing, and kayaking.
